Propulsion Controls Engineering (PCE), the award winning provider of skills demanded by the US Navy and commercial firms since 1974, is a full service electro-mechanical repair and diesel repair contractor. We offer a wide array of services including repair of rotating machinery and pumps, electric motor and generators, diesel engines, governors and controls, hydraulics, welding and valve repair. 

Duties/Responsibilities
Propulsion Controls Engineering (PCE) is looking for a Certified Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Inspector with a thorough understanding of NAVSEA Standard Items, the basic work specification and welding and NDT acceptance criteria.  The qualified candidate must be able to safely conduct in-process and final inspections.  The candidate must be able to understand and derive technical requirements to ensure compliance to new construction and repair fabrication standards for the US Navy shipboard systems and equipment.

-       Must be a certified NDT Quality Assurance inspector with 3-5 years of experience

-       Must be able to thoroughly read blueprint and understand complex and critical work specifications and equipment technical manuals and publications

-       Must have clear and concise communication skills

-       Must be able to work under demanding and challenging work environments

-       Must be able to use technical measuring and diagnostic equipment

-       Must be able to work in spaces with little or limited ventilation, high levels of heat and humidity, extreme noise and must be able to transport test and inspection equipment to/from work sites.

-       Must be a team player
